Established in 2006, BreakEFX Crew was created to offer a bold fusion of urban elements to the entertainment industry and educational community of Colorado and beyond. Embodying an ethnically diverse, & multi-talented array of dancers, teachers, performers and choreographers, BreakEFX is a passionate organization with a goal to inspire all the we entertain. Setting ourselves apart from similar dance crews both locally and nationally, the uplifting message of H.I.P.H.O.P (higher inner peace, helping other people) relayed in our action packed performances, has allowed BreakEFX Crew to simply become, Colorado's Best Dance Crew. In 2009 BreakEFX Crew debuted our stage production "SLANGIN JOY" and proved that, even less forgiving critics, can be blown away by "BreakEFX dancers (who) have way more than "attitude." BreakEFX will proudly introduce SLANGIN JOY II in 2011 with even more tenacity the second time around.
Above all else, BreakEFX is known for our devoted youth involvement and K-12 youth outreach projects including work for Jefferson County, Boulder County, Adams County, Prowers County, Crowley County, and Alliance Nebraska. Conveying our vision in living a positive lifestyle through the movement and artistic expression of hip hop, is something we take a lot of pride in. We relay that vision through an organized presentation of high energy dance, dialogue, comedy, audience interaction and a solid thought provoking experience for students to walk away with. Additionally our message is honest and transcends origin from many of our dancers personal lives.
Every time BreakEFX crosses a stage, we do it in honor of; one our greatest friends, our greatest mentor, our greatest leader, Gary Kendell (Jabbawockeez creator & founder). As human beings, we fumble & stumble this earth in search of a Super Hero to invest our faith in…
